Roasting Services

Guam Bakery offers roasting services but only on Saturdays.  We roast Whole Pigs, Hams, Turkey and Chicken.  We are unable to accommodate whole pigs over 75lbs.  Please call 632-1161 for more information

The Holidays are fast approaching and because we still offer roasting services we get asked all sorts of questions about what is safe and how soon to defrost a turkey etc. The USDA has a great “Turkey Basics: Safe Thawing” write up.

“Turkeys must be kept at a safe
temperature during “the big thaw.”
While frozen, a turkey is safe
indefinitely. However, as soon as it
begins to thaw, any bacteria that
may have been present before
